The King and Queen of Bachelor in Paradise, Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon, are still very much in love—and on a whole new reality show.
As any loyal denizen of Bachelor Nation knows, their love story is a journey full of weeping, rejection, romance, and more weeping since they met on Bachelor in Paradise in 2015. Since then, they’ve had a whirlwind romance, tied the knot, welcomed two kids together, and opened up their own business together.
Now, they’re on a whole new journey on The Real Housewives of Rhode Island, so it seems like a really good time to scroll through a timeline of their love, from the day they met to their latest foray into reality TV.
Summer 2015
Jared and Ashley meet on Bachelor in Paradise Season 2, and she immediately falls in love with him.
“I remember walking down the steps in Paradise and seeing him at the bar, and it was the weirdest feeling,” Ash says. “I was just so gravitated and drawn to him. It was truly love at first sight.”
The pair briefly date (by which I mean Ashley spends a lot of time crying hysterically), but he rejects her. And she...doesn’t take it well.
October 2015
Ashley and Jared hit up a charity event, which is the first time in his opinion that they started vibing. “I wanted you that night,” Jared muses, while chatting about the below pic:
Summer 2016
Bachelor in Paradise airs its fated third season, where Ashley struggles with Jared dating Caila Quinn: “Like, what the hell! This is the worst scenario,” Ashley says. “I hope that this date makes Jared realize that Caila sucks.”
She later describes Caila as a “backstabbing whore of a friend,” and spends a long time talking to this poor, long-suffering parrot about her drama:
Winter 2018
Ashley starts dating Bachelor Winter Games star Kevin Wendt, and they seem fully in love per this IG post:
However, Ashley and Jared continue to have tons of chemistry, and she later admits that she low-key cheated on Kevin. “I was dating Kevin, like, out in the real world for two weeks, and Jared came out about his feelings and he kissed me in the airport,” she said on her show, The Ben & Ashley I Almost Famous Podcast. “And we had mentioned this before—I admitted before I was dating Kevin when Jared kissed me. Whether you call that cheating, that is up to you. By most definitions, that is true. But, it was one of the moments of passion, one of those actions—he pulled me in, I kissed him back.”
March 2018
Ashley and Kevin split, and I think we all know why! “He’s such a sweet guy,” Ash tells reporters. “Perfect husband material. Just not my husband [...] I think that at [our age], if after three months you’re not in that honeymoon period, I feel like you should probably go your separate ways. I didn’t want to lead him on any longer because even though he’s such a high-quality guy—couldn’t ask for a better boyfriend—he just wasn’t my forever guy. But he taught me how to be desired and appreciated and just smothered in love, so that was nice.”

According to a lengthy Instagram caption penned by Ashley, the couple quarantined with her parents during the COVID-19 pandemic. “This amazing man spent 13 weeks at his in-laws’!! I think he deserves a round of applause for getting out of it sane! Since day one of friendship, Jared fit right into my family. I’m so grateful for that,” she wrote.
She continued, “Despite the unfortunate circumstances of this long stay being because of COVID-19, I’ll be forever thankful for all the quality time I got with my family. I’m going to miss the family dinners and endlessly watching Sex and the City with my mom. Honestly, we’re not even itching to leave, but we’re also looking forward to living just as a couple again starting the week. It’s about to be our last month technically as newlyweds!”
February 2021
A couple of months later, Jared made an appearance on the Click Bait with Bachelor Nation podcast and revealed that he and Ashley are in the stages of starting a family. “We’re actually in the ‘trying’ phase. We’re gonna try and let the chips fall where they may. Because, you know, we've been told it could—who knows how long it could take," he said.
May 2021
Ashley shared an update on her fertility journey with her Instagram followers, revealing that she and Jared were having trouble conceiving after trying for 6 months. She wrote, “I would have been nervous about my fertility if I hadn’t gone to my OB/GYN a couple weeks ago. She assured me that not being pregnant after 6 months of trying is totally normal and she’s not concerned at all. She said it takes most of her patients at least 6 months to conceive. She said to wait until we’re a year into trying until running tests on me.”
July 2021
According to People, Ashley and Jared revealed they were expecting their first child during an Amazon livestream and dished that they already had a name picked out if it was a boy (!!!).
August 2021
During another Amazon livestream, the couple revealed they were expecting a baby boy. “I’m super excited. I hope that he likes some of the things I loved growing up, like Star Wars and comic books and sports,” Jared gushed. “I’ve always dreamed of coaching my son’s little league team, so I hope he likes playing baseball. I guess we’ll find out. I also really hope he becomes the next kicker for the New England Patriots.”
December 2021
Ashley and Jared co-founded and opened their small business, Audrey’s Coffee House & Lounge, in South Kingston, Rhode Island. Fun fact: it’s named after Ashley’s mom, full of Bachelor-themed decorations, and still open in our good year 2026.
January 2022
Ashley and Jared's baby, Dawson Demitri Haibon, is born! Jared shared an update with fans on Instagram, writing, “Baby Dawson is here and healthy! Ashley is recovering and doing well! It really couldn’t have gone much smoother 🙏 He’s so sweet & beautiful and has been sleeping all day. Unlike his Mom and Dad who are on no sleep right now but it’s totally worth it!”
February 2022
We finally get a glimpse of bb Dawson thanks to an Instagram post from Ashley:
“Dawson entered the world on a very important day in our family. January 31st is not only my mom’s birthday, but also the day my parents met 44 years ago. ❤️,” she wrote.
She continued, “Right now we’re enjoying the sleepiest, calmest baby we’ve ever met. Dawson did not get his chill from his parents. He did get his feet from me, his chin from Jared, one of his names from a Leo character, and another one of his names from, well, see Jared’s IG caption. We love him so much and are feeling so blessed!!”
March 2023
Jared posts a super sweet birthday tribute to Ashley (complete with adorable pics of Dawson, “Happy birthday to an incredible wife, an even better mother and just a wonderful person. Dawson and I are beyond lucky to have you in our lives,” he wrote.
January 2024
Fast forward to 2024, when Ashley and Jared are expecting their second baby! Ashley chatted with People about their life update, saying, “We want Dawson to have a sibling. I want that big family dynamic, but man, having so many kids is just so overwhelming. Even the idea of a second kid ... it’s no longer two-on-one where we can play defense against him. Now it's just one-on-one.”

The couple reveals the gender of their second baby by biting into cupcakes in a sweet video they shared during an Instagram livestream, per People. “It’s a boy! Are you kidding me?” Ashley said as the blue filling was unveiled.
July 2024
Jared and Ashley welcome their baby, Hayden Cruise Haibon.
“Baby is healthy and so is Mama! Seeing Dawson meet his little brother for the first time was as precious as we always imagined the moment would be. Dawson is full of love and kept petting Hayden,” the couple exclusively told People.

November 2025
Ashley and Jared address rumors that they’re joining the cast of Real Housewives of Rhode Island during an interview with Access Hollywood.
“There is nothing I can tease about that. I don’t know,” Ashley said with a smile on her face, adding, “No, I don’t know. I don't know what happens in The Housewives of Rhode Island, or if there even was one.”
A few days later, Andy Cohen announced the official cast for The Real Housewives of Rhode Island, including none other than Ashley, at BravoCon.
March 2026
Ashley tells UsWeekly how she thinks her involvement on RHORI will affect her marriage with Jared, if at all.
“I know that since we’ve been through the spotlight together, neither of us are going to feel affected by it,” she told the outlet. “We have been under the spotlight together. This isn’t going to be a new thing. I just think it’s nice that we’re not going to have something new thrown at our relationship.”
“We honestly know how to navigate it pretty well. It’s our foundation,” Ashley added. “I would say we kind of know how this is going to go. We know we have our priorities in line, for sure.”
April 2026
RHORI premiered on April 2, and Jared supported Ashley with a very sweet Instagram post, writing, in part, “Ashley probably isn’t the first person you think of when thinking of a ‘Housewife’. However, when I think about it, I actually think she is. Ashley is hardworking, beautiful, intelligent, thoughtful, a supportive wife and the most loving mother any child can ask for. I see her put her family first every single day.”
He added, “She might not be confrontational, she might not flip tables but she is strong, diligent and wears her heart on her sleeve. Ashley I is a badass. And when I think of this franchise, I think of badass women. Because of this, I think Ashley will fit right in.”
Despite his sweet message, Page Six shared an exclusive clip from RHORI, where Ashley got emotional and revealed she and Jared are struggling in their marriage.
“We have sunshiny days sometimes, but they’re very few and far between,” she said in the clip. “It’s just hard to always be like, ‘He’s not happy, he’s not happy.’”
Ashley continued, “He’s always like, ‘It’s not the kids, and it’s not you.’ He feels like he’s not being a good enough father and husband because he’s not bringing anything to the table with his project.”
